- Not central but really nice: Fountainbleu

- Check out the restaurants in Chinatown – You can literally choose almost any restaurant in Chinatown and know you’re going to get authentic great food for like 1/3 of the price of a casino. One of our faves is Mas Por Favor. Delicious specialty tacos and great small bites. Plus, there’s a speakeasy that has live music and really cool cocktails in the back.
- Shinjuku Ramen is one of our favorite Ramen spots. Plays anime while you eat Ramen.

- SAND DOLLAR Bar – step above a dive bar, really popular locals hangout!
- Golden tiki – great drinks, great vibes
- Player one is an arcade bar that costs like five or $10 to get in but it has all the video games from like 1970 to now plus massive TVs behind the bar where you can play Mario kart or super smash Bros

- Shows/Theater
- Our top pick is: Absinthe a production that is a circus, comedy, burlesque, and vaudeville all in one

Other helpful tips
- We recommend doing the sightseeing and restaurant reservations before the festival days so you are fully energized!
- Fireworks go off between 1:41-1:47.
- Download the app and make your schedule. Pro-tip put set times as your phone lock screen each day to save battery and avoid needing to browse the app. Plan for walking time between sets, the venue is HUGE. But don’t be too strict on it!
- Transportation
- Around Vegas
- Very walkable city! Unless you are going to opposite sides of the strip we always recommend walk, it’s much more scenic. Otherwise uber or taxi! All the hotels have designated taxi and rideshare pickups, sometimes they are different, make sure to ask an employee or pay attention for signage around the hotel.
- To and from EDC
- The shuttles are the cheapest way to get to the festival but departures and returns may be limited, so it’s best to check the schedule and plan accordingly. If you plan to stay until the end of the festival, be ready to wait a long time to get home and consider this if you have tickets to a day party.
- Other transportation options include rideshare and taxi, helicopter transfers via Maverick, but will run you quite alot more of a cost than the shuttle.
- You can also drive and park but expect alot of traffic. Make sure you have a designated drive. Bonus: parking is free!
- Around Vegas
- Camp EDC pass is worth it even if you are not actually camping! The parties there are awesome! And a good way to wait out the shuttle madness after the festival.
- Double down on water! Vegas is extra dry. Liquid IV packs help a ton. Don’t forget a camel bak for the festival. Plenty of free water refill stations.
- Also on the topic of dry heat, nose bleeds can happen (even if you are not prone to them). Make sure to have a natural saline nasal spray and Ayr saline gel handy.
- If you find a good promoter, it’s pretty common for women to get in to the clubs for free! A bit harder during EDC Week but possible
