Location: Miami, FL

Getting in: Because they sell timed entry tickets, you’ll usually see spikes in traffic around the cut off times. Usually, 1 AM, 3 AM, and 7 AM. During big weeks like Art Basel and Miami Music Week, peak entry times are a bit more unpredictable. Plan ahead if you have timed entry or purchase a VIP table.

Dress code: It’s pretty much anything goes as long as you have shoes with backs! (aka no flip flops or slippers) Also generally recommend close toed shoes for your own safety(getting stepped on).

Crowd: the crowd is diverse, attracting a mix of locals, tourists, and seasoned club-goers. The venue is known for its welcoming atmosphere and unique Miami energy. You’re bound to see some “characters” that will make your night unforgettable

What makes it unique: it’s open for days at a time with a 24-hour liquor license. you’ll often find it’s just as busy at 8 am as it is at 11 pm or 5 pm. DJs break records here, such as Martinez Brothers, Loco Dice, and Marco Carola all who have played 24+ hour sets. They serve food! Everything from fruit platters to empanadas. Most of all, the sense of community is unmatched.

Getting in: one of the strictest security searches in the world (literally feels like TSA). besides that as long as you have your ticket, it’s pretty standard. some events can get really busy, so plan to get there early if you can.

Dress code: casual and functional!

Crowd: depends on the night! Fabric books every type of electronic music and sometimes different genres on the same night in different rooms so you can really expect the gamut of ravers.

What makes it unique: Celebrating 25 years this year, Fabric is known as one of the most iconic clubs in electronic music history. It has an energetic and welcoming atmosphere that can only be experienced to truly understand it.

Scorpios

Location: Mykonos, Greece

Getting in: the most affordable way is to make a dinner reservation around sunset time and stay for the party. Otherwise, purchasing a VIP table is your best bet. Walk ins are rare, especially in the summer months.

Dress code: Upscale beach club attire(not bathing suits).

Crowd: affluent tourists and celebrities

What makes it unique: beachfront setting and sophisticated vibe. even the staff look like models!

Pro-tip: parties tend to end early (around 11 pm- midnight) so you might want to make additional night plans (such as Cavo Paradiso). It can be hard to to get a cab after the party, pre-schedule your pick up with a private driver a few minutes before the party ends.

Berghain

Location: Berlin, Germany

Getting in: arguably the most difficult club to gain entry to in the world. the club is queer forward and sex-positive, so to maintain the right vibe and ensure the safety of their patrons and keep it free of tourists that may disrespect the venue, bouncers often assess guests based on vibe and attire. it’s advisable to arrive alone, don’t speak in line especially if you don’t speak German and be careful to not look rambunctious. Arrive with confidence.

Dress code: dark, functional, and edgy fashion, with many patrons opting for all-black outfits; however, self-expression through personal style is encouraged.

Crowd: eclectic, artsy, a lot of locals, LGBT+ and queer-friendly
